New site in Miami
Spring® Genetics took over a new site in close location to the current breeding nucleus site in Homestead, Miami. The first phase of the project - including construction of a new state-of-the-art hatchery for all year round production of fingerlings - was recently started. The commercial hatchery will have temperature control, highest standards of biosecurity and a full RAS system. Given the size of the new site, further expansions and new facilities for breeding nucleus will be conducted as Phase 2 and 3 of the project.

Starting production of commercial bach in FAI Brazil
In March 2017, we produced the very first batch of Spring Tilapia® fingerlings for commercial sales in FAI Brazil.
